Most Trusted Grocery Retailers in America 2023

Why do we choose one grocery store over another? A multitude of reasons factor into this weekly decision, including price and selection. Can we trust the quality of produce and products at the deli? Are the shelves regularly stocked with food that is within the best-by date? Dozens of micro-questions pass through our minds as we pick which store to go to feed our families. Ultimately this decision comes down to trust.

In partnership with Newsweek, BrandSpark International delivers the second year of a special BrandSpark Most Trusted Awards (BMTAs), highlighting the most trusted grocery stores as voted by American shoppers. BrandSpark surveyed 10,082 Americans to identify the grocery store brands that consumers trust most. The survey looked at a variety of store formats from traditional grocers to convenience stores, identifying the "Top Trust Leaders" across America and by region.
