A clip of the head of the Arizona Republican Party and her husband signing illegitimate election result documents—while falsely claiming they were presidential electors—has re-emerged, after it was revealed the pair were subpoenaed by the House Select Committee investigating the January 6 attack.
Arizona GOP Chair Kelli Ward and her husband, Michael Ward, have filed a lawsuit against their phone provider, T-Mobile, to try and prevent it sharing its records with the panel, reported Politico.
The committee also subpoenaed the records of the Ward's company Mole Medical Services P.C.
The lawsuit argues handing over their phone records would violate their First Amendment rights, as well as compromise the private health information of their patients.
Kelli and Michael Ward were both part of a group of 11 Republicans who met on December 14, 2020, to sign documents while falsely claiming they had the power to award Arizona's 11 electoral votes for Donald Trump.
The Republican Party of Arizona made no secret of their attempts to try to award Trump the electoral votes even after President Joe Biden was declared the winner of the state.
The party issued a press release at the time and even posted video of the Wards and the nine other Republicans signing the documents on social media.
Following the news that Kelli and Michael Ward have been subpoenaed by the January 6 committee, the clip has been widely reshared on social media.
Political commentator Brian Tyler Cohen tweeted: "Something tells me Arizona GOP *probably* wishes they didn't record themselves committing a crime and then posting it onto Twitter."
Former MSNBC host Keith Olbermann wrote while sharing the clip: "Mark this video Exhibit 1 for the prosecution."
Writer Helen Kennedy added: "They filmed themselves fraudulently declaring themselves 'duly elected.' Good job guys!"
While pretending to quote one of the Republicans signing the false Electoral Vote certificate, author James Surowiecki wrote: "Are you tweeting out a video of a criminal conspiracy?"

Nearly 15 months after the 2020 Election took place, conspiracy theorists are still disputing the Arizona results in the hopes of proving Trump's long since dismissed cries of widespread voter fraud. A sham audit funded by QAnon supporters in Arizona's Maricopa County not only found Biden still won, but Trump had actually received fewer votes than in the original count.
Groups in Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin were also found to have forged documents which falsely claimed Trump had won the states after they were officially declared for Biden.
The House committee investigating the Capitol attack revealed January 28, 2022, that they had subpoenaed 14 individuals who purported to be "alternate electors" for Trump and met on December 14, 2020, to sign and submit false Electoral College certificates from the seven states.
The documents which the January 6 panel are requesting from Kelli and Michael Ward cover the dates from November 1, 2020, to January 31, 2021.
The Ward's lawyer, Alexander Kolodin, has been contacted for comment.
