Alligator

Alligators are large reptiles known for their powerful jaws and sharp teeth. They can grow up to 14 feet in length and weigh up to 1,000 pounds. Alligators are aquatic and are found in freshwater habitats. They are carnivorous, feeding on fish, birds, and mammals. With only a handful of fatal attacks reported each year, alligator attacks on humans are rare.
